  • Leave church at 11:30 am for canoeing

This year’s father/child outing is for both boys and girls and has something for everyone! By combining two fantastic – and manly –  events together, we have created SEVEN HOURS OF COURAGE! You can opt for a full day of adventure, or a half-day of fun by joining the group for lunch and canoeing. The day will begin from GracePointe where we will carpool/caravan about 45 min to Adventureworks. The cost is $60 per person and includes lunch, drinks and snacks. The morning also includes a Quantum Leap sure to be a favorite of the manly men!

Zip Line

Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the trees in our 40-acre forest nestled in a scenic bend of the Harpeth River. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Guides point out native trees, plants, and wildlife. Zip tours operate year round. Experience zipping during every season!
Zip Tours include 9 zip lines and are approximately 90 minutes long. Zip tours may be combined with other Adventure Park activities. Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 450 feet long, and about 85 feet high. (Closed-toed shoes are recommended; no flip-flops.)
Canopy Tour Restrictions: The zip tour is designed for participants of good to moderate health, weighing less than 275 lbs. Participants must be able to climb stairs. Pregnant women, people with heart, leg, back problems, or other serious illness should not to do the canopy zip tour. Groups of children must zip with an adult. Zipping is recommended for ages 6 and up. Exceptions to any restrictions are at the discretion of the management.

The Quantum Leap

Climb 30 feet up, balance on top of a very small platform, and leap to ring the bell… that’s the Quantum Leap! This activity is a great add-on for anyone wanting just a little more adventure after doing other Adventure Challenges. Participants are harnessed safely to a belay system and are lowered slowly back to the ground after taking the leap.
Cost: $60 per person for both – (they also have a giant swing with limited availability for those not wanting the Quantum Leap experience.)
At the zipline / Leap from about 9:30 to 12:30. They have a picnic area on-site. We will have a great lunch delivered and provide drinks and snacks.

GP Harpeth Flotilla

For those that may not be up for the full (financial and physical) challenge; you are not forgotten. A second group will leave GP around 11:30 for the first ever GP Harpeth Flotilla.
Begin by joining the morning group for lunch and then suiting up for a two hour canoe ride down the Harpeth river.

Foggy Bottom Canoes 1:30 to 3:30pm $30 per boat and $10 each for lunch, drinks and snacks! 2 or 3 to a boat!
